Northdale Superintendent's Academy currently serves, and will continue to serve all overage, at-risk high school clients geographically eligible for enrollment in East Baton Rouge Parish public schools.
Admissions Policy To enroll in the Northdale Superintendent's Academy clients must: Be age 15 – 20 and committed to earning a high school diploma; Students who are 20 years of age must be eligible for graduation within the school year; Eligible for enrollment in an East Baton Rouge Parish School; Be formerly unsuccessful in making progress towards a high school diploma (two or more years behind); Complete an enrollment application, which is at the program site or online; Submit required documents and forms; and Schedule an admissions conference and screenings to begin the application process. Transition Back to HomeSchool Policy To receive approval to return to their home school after participating in the Northdale program clients must: Have a 2.0 GPA or higher; Not be under-credited; Not have any major discipline incidents (suspensions, etc.); Have an attendance record of at least 90%; Present a written request to transition back to their home school; and Schedule a transition conference. |
